This war of video games between the two giants in this field has entered the superstores as well. Blockbuster stores have decided to sell only Blu-ray technology in all of its 1400 stores. Similarly, Target too has decided to sell only Blu-ray technology video games henceforth. However, Microsoft has reduced the price of its mean machine and kept it under $200 to capture the market. It remains to be seen how Sony are going to react to this step by Microsoft.
Besides the two games mentioned earlier, there is another popular game in the market, Nintendo’s Wii. Users claim that even though the graphics are not its strong point it is great fun to play and comes at a very affordable price as well. It has motion-sensitive controls and almost like real life when you play it. With these three and so many other games in the video games market your birthdays and special occasions are going to celebrated with great gifts for your children. Children now like to be given electronic gifts like video games instead of the traditional wallets, novels, shoulder and hand bags etc. But before you go about purchasing video games for your children do make sure it is something of their liking. Video games do not come cheap and the price does not come down even if newer versions and other thrilling games are being offered.
